How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called the children of God!
1 John 3:1

A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing.
Psalm 68:5-6

Football Time!

Last weekend was kickoff to the football season. So we suited up in our best orange (Thanks Jennifer, for hooking Anna up!) and headed to the ball game.

The fun begins long before kickoff....it's tailgate time! Anna loved watching all the people go by. Despite missing a nap (and cutting her first tooth) she was a blast the entire day.

Hanging with mom and watching all the people....and just looking cute!
Bill stopped by to get a little Anna love. Pure joy!
My brother, David, and his family came by,too. Everybody was wearing their Orange!
Then we headed to the ballgame.... Anna enjoyed some snacks with SueSue.
She got to play with some of her friends from Ethiopia- God is so good to provide a community of kids from Ethiopia in our town!
"Mom, this is sooo fun!"
She even took in a little of the ball game! When everyone clapped, Anna did, too.
I wish you could hear her squeals of delight....she had such a good time!
We had a really good day and Anna was asleep within seconds of heading home. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season- win or loose, football is much more fun with Anna along!
